Background of Project
Starting from the concept of home — a space where we are most raw, honest, and imperfect — this project explores how those values can translate into fashion.
The brand centres on embracing imperfections through repair, mending, and sustainable practices, challenging the disposable culture of the fashion industry. It aims to encourage more mindful consumption, even among those without prior interest in sustainability.
Through thoughtful product development and an immersive retail experience inspired by the feeling of home, the brand creates a welcoming space — a “second home” — built on longevity, care, and emotional connection. Like a home with strong foundations, the garments are designed to last, grow with the wearer, and hold memories over time.
Second Spin
An interactive clothing swap designed to extend garment life through sustainability and storytelling. The space is styled as a symbolic laundry room, representing renewal and care.
Before being exchanged, customers add care instructions as a short story tag, sharing the garment’s memories with its next owner.
The concept transforms secondhand clothing into meaningful exchanges, passing on not just garments, but stories.
